‘Rebirth of Creativity’ ??? Gutenberg and the Future of WordPress Themes

Business interests played a crucial role in propelling WordPress to become the most dominant CMS in the world.

However, the balance has clearly shifted in favor of building WordPress themes for business and ecommerce rather than for the enthusiasts who just want to create.

Other platforms have better catered to these users and filled in the gaps left open by WordPress.

In a couple of years that won’t be the case.

I might be earning something from themes, but themes as we know them will no-longer be made.

Stylesheets will be relegated to selecting fonts, and colours; and setting sizes and spacings. Gutenberg will take care of the layout. This could easily be done by a plugin or in core directly.

There are definite benefits to doing this from a user’s perspective – they will have full control of their site – but it’s going to result in some very boring website layouts.

I’d love to create a WordPress design system but WordPress isn’t designed in the right way, and it would be hard to change since there’s so much legacy content.

I hope the Gutenberg team consider this and build things so that this is possible.

Somewhere along the way, we lost the innocence and artistry of building WordPress themes for the pure fun of it. WordPress grew up and WordPress themes along with it.

Viktor Pushkarev from Russia – Calligraphy Masters

”In calligraphy, a ductus is the direction, number and sequence of the strokes that work together to create a letter. In this showcase I’ve animated every single letter variation of Black Ustav that I could create.”

”I’ve created my own variation of Ustav with extraordinary appeal, since it has a certain gothic feeling but it is still close to traditional Cyrillic forms. Since I’ve wanted to share it with public, I’ve created a small animated guide of how to write such letters.”

”I’ve named it Black Ustav, since it might resemble the aesthetics of modern blackletter but with a traditional Cyrillic Ustav’s forms.”

Israel’s Supreme Justice Esther Hayut is full in control

After nearly two years in office, Chief Justice Esther Hayut is firmly in control of the Supreme Court.

She has fought and negotiated with former justice minister Ayelet Shaked over new appointments to the court with each side getting to pick a justice more to their liking.

More recently, she has loudly butted heads with new Acting Justice Minister Amir Ohana, who seems even more intent than Shaked on reducing the court’s power.

Along with Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit, Hayut has to date successfully fought off attempts to push to give 61 members of the Knesset the power to veto Supreme Court rulings.

She has said that the status of the Supreme Court is not the issue – it is the eradication of basic human rights and the legal chaos that would result.

All of that said, Hayut is no liberal – she is at most a moderate activist, if not a straight centrist.

Earlier in September, she was the decisive voice in a 4-3 Supreme Court vote to embrace the government’s policy of holding onto terrorists’ bodies to negotiate the return of Israeli bodies being held by Hamas.

A regular three justice panel of the Supreme Court had already declared the policy a violation of international law, which was also how the policy was mostly perceived globally.

Hayut not only was the decisive vote recognizing the policy as legal, but was the key actor in allowing a rare appeal of the original Supreme Court decision.

Taking office at the young age of 64, Hayut will run the court for six years – longer than both recent chief justices Asher Grunis and Miriam Naor combined. Far more like Naor and Grunis than Aharon Barak or Dorit Beinisch, the true activist chief justices, she is frequently in the majority when the court splits, but upholds a Knesset law.

While the Supreme Court during her reign has pressed the government to resolve the issue of Haredim integrating into the IDF, her court has purposely kept its head down and delayed ruling on two mega issues. Though it froze the Settlements Regulations Law, in the two-and-half-years since a petition was filed to strike that law, the court has shockingly refused to rule. Hayut appears to be using the same strategy in refusing to rule on the Nation-State Law.

Hayut has crossed the political class with disqualifying some Otzma Yehudit candidates from running for Knesset, but on that issue, even much of the court’s conservative wing is supportive.

Before 1990, Hayut spent over a decade in the private sector, before climbing up the judicial ladder post by post from 1990-2004 until reaching the Supreme Court.

“For the rule of the people not to turn into the tyranny of the people, we must promise to protect the rule of law and the rights of the individual, especially the rights of minorities.”

Germans Display ‘F*ck You Greta’ Bumper Stickers to Protest Being Lectured About Global Warming

Greta Thunberg is a Swedish teen climate activist who has been heavily promoted by the establishment and was placed on the front cover of Time Magazine back in May.

Ingmar Rentzhog, founder of the non-profit We Don’t Have Time Foundation, claimed to have ‘discovered’ Thunberg and used her to push climate change messaging.

This has prompted accusations that the teen is being exploited given her Asperger’s, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and selective mutism.

The Left’s new strategy to jam the cult of Climate Crisis down our throats, is to use young people as their spokespersons.

When you try to disagree or criticize this vile tactic, the left will rage and scream “HOW DARE YOU ATTACK A CHILD ?!”

Who is Greta Thunberg you may ask?

She is the 16-year-old daughter of famous opera singer and leftist activist Marlena Ernman who got her daughter started in the climate change biz. Thunberg also got here very own coach and groomer- a well-known climate activist from Germany named Luisa-Marie Neubauer.

Luisa-Marie Neubauer belongs to the “one foundation” which has many wealthy far left financiers including Bill Gates and George Soros, famous for his radical activist network “Open Society”.

It’s heartening to see that many people can see right through such a flagrant attempt to use a child as a human shield for emotionally manipulative propaganda.

While the message is squarely aimed at Greta, more questions need to be asked about who is pulling her strings.

Denmark – Rosh Hashanah Rescue 1943

In the summer of 1943 as the tide of the war was shifting toward the allies, acts of sabotage against the Germans increased throughout German-occupied territories.  Danes began to join the resistance and engaged in anti-German sabotage. After the Danish government refused German demands to try those responsible and impose the death penalty against them, the Germans responded by taking one hundred hostages among prominent citizens including a dozen Jews and the Chief Rabbi. The German military announced martial law and the Danes then dissolved the government in protest on August 29.

Without the protection of the Danish government, the situation facing Danish Jewry became dire.

The Germans soon obtained records of the Jewish community and their residences. On September 18, a special commando force of Gestapo arrived with orders to begin the liquidation of Danish Jewry. The planned arrests were set for Wednesday night, October 1-the first night of Rosh Hashanah. The Nazis assumed that the Jews would be in their homes that day celebrating the holiday. The plan was to deport the Jews by ships to concentration camps.

On September 18, the German Reich Commissioner, Werner Best, notified the German director of shipping in Denmark, George Duckitz that ships anchored in the harbor would be used to transport Jews. Duckitz had no intention of cooperating and flew to nearby neutral Sweden to request that they accept the Jews.

Although initially receiving no reply following his pleas, on September 28, he revealed the German plans to leader of the Danish Social Democrat Party, Hans Hedtoft who immediately contacted the Danish resistance. Members of the Jewish community were informed and most found refuge in the homes of Christian neighbors.

On the night of October 1, the holiday of Rosh Hashanah, Gestapo agents invaded the homes of Jews and found them empty. Over the next week, hundreds of Danish members of the resistance clandestinely smuggled the Jews from their places of hiding to Sweden via boats. The Swedish government had announced on October 2 that it was prepared to accept the Danish Jewish refugees. The last group arrived on Friday morning, October 9, the eve of Yom Kippur.

Over six thousand Jews managed to escape along with their 686 non-Jewish relatives, while 464 of the 580 who remained behind were deported to Theresienstadt.

The Jewish community had already lived under Nazi control for three years and some did not believe the warnings of deportations.   Others lived in remote areas and were not warned. There were also those who had no place for refuge or considered themselves too elderly to flee. Then there were some who were betrayed by Nazi sympathizers and found while in flight.

The Danes continued to intercede on behalf of those Jews while under Nazi internment. They sent food parcels and needed supplies. In total, fifty two of the deported Jews did not return, a figure far lower than any other Jewish community under German occupation.

The Germans had expected the Danes to betray the Jews by revealing their hiding places. They offered the incentive that imprisoned Danish troops would be released in return for some measure of cooperation. But to no avail.

Rabbi Nathan Bamberger was forewarned of the impending danger and he and his family left their home on September 29 as Rosh Hashanah was approaching. He records in “The Viking Jews” how the Danes also protected their property. “The table was set, candles placed in candlesticks, and the traditional holiday bread baked. When, after twenty months, in May 1945, we returned to Copenhagen and reentered our home, everything was exactly as we left it! The Danes had seen to it that no one entered our home during our absence. Similarly, the Danes watched out Synagogues, the Jewish schools and community center and many Jewish apartments. No looting, stealing, or other mischievous acts occurred there.”

That Rosh Hashanah, amid the horrors of Nazi Germany, Danish Jewry was saved.

‘The interrogation prevented shootings, bombings, kidnappings’

The head of the terror cell which killed 17-year-old Rina Shnerb last month has been hospitalized in critical condition following the Shabak (Israel Security Agency) interrogation, Haaretz reported.

A source familiar with the details said that the agency had received permission from a legal source to use exceptional methods in the interrogation of Samar Mina Salim Arabid after it received new information that he had an explosive device in his possession.

During that interrogation, he was beaten and later transferred to Jerusalem’s Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.

The Shabak said that during his interrogation, the terrorist who headed the cell which carried out the Dolev Spring terror attack said he did not feel well.

In accordance with protocol, the terrorist was transferred for medical examinations and brought to a hospital for treatment.

“The interrogation of the terror infrastructure is still ongoing, and we cannot provide additional details,” the Shabak said.

Earlier on Saturday evening, the Shabak released the names of the terrorists responsible for the Dolev Spring terror attack, which left Rina dead and injured her father and brother.

The three terrorists are all members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and residents of the Ramallah area, and all had been arrested in the past.

Terrorists who killed Rina Shnerb arrested

The terrorists who carried out the bombing at the Dolev Spring have been arrested.

The joint operation carried out by the Israel Security Agency (Shabak), IDF, and Israel Police led to discovery and arrest of the terrorists who killed Rina Shnerb and wounded her father and brother.

According to Shabak, the trio of terrorists are all residents of the Ramallah area and are members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). These terrorists planned and executed the Dolev Spring terror attack and are suspected of carrying out additional attacks in the area.

Shabak identified the terrorists as:

1. Samar Mina Salim Arabid, 44, a resident of Ramallah and a senior PFLP member. Arabid has been arrested several times in the past for his involvement in military terror, and he acted under the PFLP’s Ramallah head during the Second Intifada, preparing explosives and terror attacks. He was considered a wanted terrorist for several years.

In this terror attack, Arabid took charge of the infrastructure, preparing the explosives and activating them when he noticed the Shnerbs approaching the area.

2. Qassam Aa Karim Ragah Shabli, 25, a PFLP member and a resident of Kobar. Shabli was arrested in the past for involvement in terror activities. He prepared the explosives the bomb was made from, aided in the creation of the bomb, and helped activate it in the field.

3. Yazin Hassin Hasani Majmas, 25, a PFLP member and a resident of Ramallah. Majmas was arrested in the past for invovlement in lone-wolf terror activities and he was a full partner in planning the attack and helping carry it out in real time.

An additional cell member, Nazaam Saami Yousef Olad Mahmad, 21, is a resident of Birzeit and a member of the PFLP Students’ Organization at Birzeit University.

Shabak added that the trio, led by Arabid, planned to carry out additional terror attacks, including shooting attacks and a kidnapping.

During their interrogation, they disclosed an additional explosive device which was in the infrastructure’s possession. This device was detonated at the site by Israel’s security forces.

In a statement, the IDF said: “Following the Israel Security Agency’s announcement, after joint IDF, ISA, Israeli Police and Border Police operational and intelligence efforts, the terrorist squad suspected of carrying out the terror attack on August 23rd, 2019, near Dolev, northwest of Ramallah, in which Rina Shnerb was murdered and her father, Eitan, and brother, Dvir, were injured, has been apprehended.”

“The terrorist squad was apprehended as part of a large-scale operation conducted by IDF troops in the Ramallah district.

“The IDF will continue operating in order to preserve the security in the region, thwart any terror attempts and apprehend terrorists.”

The investigations are ongoing.

Israeli birth rate reaches all-time high as population tops 9 million

According to the CBS data, 43.2% of the population is secular, with 12.8% defined as “traditional,” 11.3% “religious,” and 10.1% ultra-Orthodox. Another 22.1% define themselves as “traditional but not very religious.”

Heading into the new year, Israel’s Jewish population numbers 6.74 million, or 74.2% of the total population. The Arab population numbers 1.91 million, or 21% of the population. Another 4.8%, or just over 440,000 Israelis, made aliyah under the Law of Return but are not listed as Jewish by the Interior Ministry’s Population Administration.

Since Rosh Hashanah 2018, Israel’s population grew by 184,000 (2.1%), a growth rate that has remained fairly stable in recent years. This past year also saw an all-time high birth rate for Israel, with 196,000 babies born. The average Israeli woman gives birth to 3.09 children.

According to the numbers, Israel also has one of the lowest infant mortality rates in the world, approximately 3 out of every 1,000 births.

A total of 45,000 Israelis died this year. Women live longer, on average, than men, with the average life expectancy for women in Israel reaching 84.8, compared to 80.9 for men. The most common cause of death in Israel? Cancer: This past year, 25.2% of Israelis who died succumbed to the disease. Heart disease, which claimed 14.8% of Israeli deaths this past year, was the second-most common cause of death.

The CBS listed 2,587,100 households and families in Israel, with an average number of 3.28 members. Some 2 million households are defined as “traditional” families (a mother, a father, and children), while the rest are made up of unmarried partners (including same-sex couples).

Coping with chaos: Israeli study shows cultural impact on Jewish and Muslim women

Until now, most of the studies in question were conducted in the United States and compared groups of African Americans, Americans of European descent, and Latinos.

Now, a multidisciplinary research study has compared Jewish and Muslim women in Israel by examining their responses to environmental variables in the urban environment such as air pollution, noise, and heat stress.

The findings indicate the occurrence of different environmental effects on each population, as well as distinct coping mechanisms the groups have developed.

Some of the studies show that in urban areas, Latinos and African Americans are more exposed to health risks and feelings of stress.

The research, presented at the annual conference for science and the environment, is the result of a multidisciplinary collaboration of scientists from different universities in Israel: Prof. Yitzhak Schnell and PhD student Diana Saadi of the Department of Geography and Human Environment at Tel Aviv University; Prof. Emanuel Tirosh of the Rappaport Family Faculty of Medicine at the Technion and Bnai Zion Medical Center; and Dr. Agai-Shai from the Department of Epidemiology from the Azrieli Faculty of Medicine at Bar-Ilan University.

The survey was conducted in the cities of Nazareth and Afula, which are located 12 km away from each other in the northern periphery of Israel. Both cities are similar in topography and climate.

According to the study’s results, Jewish and Muslim women respond differently to their respective environments.

Jewish women who participated in the study suffered from stress in noisy and polluted urban environments, but relaxed in quieter areas.

Muslim women, however, experienced the opposite. The feeling of stress intensified when they were alone in a quiet residential neighborhood, and they relaxed in the bustling city center.

“It is hard to determine the central reason for this,” Schnell says, “but we hypothesize that Muslim women felt safer downtown while Jewish women suffered more from noise, air pollution, and heat stress in the busy urban centers. The difference in response seems to be cultural as well.”

Moreover, it was found that the general level of stress among Muslim women was lower than that in Jewish women, except in the home environment, where the stress level of Muslim women increased relative to that of Jewish women. The researchers link this rise in tension to “parental stress,” as the Muslim women who participated in the study had more children.

Schnell says: “The most interesting finding of the study, which is also the first of its kind, and therefore needs to be treated with caution, is the connection between the activity of the sympathetic and parasympathetic system in the autonomic nervous system found in the Muslim women who were tested.

“This demonstrates the effectiveness of a person’s ability to adapt to a specific environment.”

In Jewish women, however, no such relationship was found. In other words, it seemed as though within the Muslim women tested, there was a physiological mechanism to deal with the busy city environment, whereas for Jewish women, this mechanism was less developed.

Therefore, the autonomic nervous system was very active in Muslim women while dealing with environmental changes. However, it is important to note that the results are preliminary and should be explored in more depth.

The results also reinforce what is known so far about the mental impact of nature. “Urban parks and green environments have an extraordinary relaxing effect. We have seen that even a short visit to the neighborhood park greatly reduces the level of stress among the two ethnic groups,” Schnell concludes.

Who really benefits from ‘Iranian attack on Saudi Arabia’

Even if there is no open military conflict, the threat of attacks on oil fields, pipelines, refineries, production plants and other objects infrastructure make Saudi Arabia a potentially unstable oil supplier.

According to Nikkei Asian Review, Aramco already notified Japan’s top oil distributor, JXTG Nippon Oil & Energy, about a potential change in shipments in October. The report says that Aramco wants to change the delivered oil grade from light to heavy and medium and suggests that Aramco would need more time than expected to repair its desulfurization facility, which is necessary to produce light-grade crude. This oil grade is used in the production of gasoline and light gas oil.

These factors are expected to prevent a further decline of oil prices and force large crude oil buyers to consider diversifying their sources of light-grade crude.

Here, there United States enters the game. In the last decade, it has more than doubled oil production to 12.3 million barrels a day, becoming the world’s largest producer. Right now, the US is finalizing additional infrastructure to transport crude out of Texas oil fields and onto the world market. According to Citigroup, the new pipelines could help grow US oil exports from the current 3 million barrels a day by 1 million barrels more by the end of 2019 and another million barrels in 2020. Some sources suggest that in 2019-2020, the US oil export potential may grow to 4.7 million barrels per day thanks to launches of new pipelines and currently ‘drilled but uncompleted’ shale oil wells (over 8,500 are available now).

Relatively high oil prices would contribute to the economic policy provided by the Trump administration. They remain within the comfort zone of the industrial sector and oil consumers of the US. At the same time, the industry of large oil consumers, like China and Germany, would bear additional costs because of the growth of energy prices. Therefore, the Trump administration would get additional odds in its economic war with China and protectionist policy against the EU industrial states.

Additionally, the September 14 attack and the growth of tensions in the Persian Gulf, in general, gave the Trump administration a formal pretext to increase its activity in the region. The US already announced that it is deploying additional troops and missiles in Saudi Arabia and imposing a new round of sanctions on Iran. If Washington fuels the war-hysteria and further, the Trump administration may even venture upon a deployment of limited military contingent to combat ‘Iranian proxies’ in Yemen or a limited strike on some non-critical ‘Iranian targets’ in the region.

This ‘controlled escalation’ would allow Washington to consolidate existing and gain additional levers of pressure on global energy prices, including the influence on Saudi Arabia, and, therefore, manipulate the global energy market in own interests. A similar motivation stands behind the US geopolitical activity towards Venezuela.

Besides these, the fight against the ‘Iranian threat’ is an important part of Donald Trump’s foreign policy agenda promoted in the framework of the 2020 presidential campaign. This gives his administration additional motivation to support the “Iran attacked Saudi Arabia” narrative.

In own turn, the attack on Saudi oil infrastructure gives little benefits to Iran whose economy, including the energy sector, is already under a strong sanction pressure. The confrontation with an artful foreign enemy helps to consolidate the nation in the face of the sharpening standoff the country’s competitors, but this is a not sufficient motivation. Instead, the constant threat of regional war may impact negatively prospects of the China-Iranian strategic partnership in the energy sphere in the framework of which, Beijing plans to invest $280bn developing Iran’s oil, gas and petrochemicals sectors and another $120bn in upgrading Iran’s transport and manufacturing infrastructure.

As to Russia, another MSM-created bogeyman ‘undermining democracy’ in the Middle East, it, as well as other large oil producers and financers, would get additional revenues thanks to the growth of oil prices in the short-term. Nonetheless, it would be hard for Moscow to get some strategic advantages on this situation.

Meanwhile, Yemen’s Houthis would continue to pursue their main goal – to achieve a victory in the conflict with Saudi Arabia or to force the Kingdom to accept the peace deal on favorable terms. To achieve this, they need to deliver the maximum damage to Saudi Arabia’s economy through strikes on its key military and infrastructure objects. In this case, surprising missile and drone strikes on different targets across Saudi Arabia have already demonstrated their effectiveness. If the Houthis continue to act in a similar audacious and considered manner, there are high chances that the September 14 attack was only the first sign of future challenges that Riyadh would face in this conflict.

ADL declares: ‘OK’ hand gesture is a white supremacist symbol

The OK hand gesture and the bowlcut hairstyle are among 36 new entries to the Anti-Defamation League’s online listing of hate symbols.

The new entries include white supremacist symbols adopted in recent years by the alt-right segment of the white supremacist movement.

The OK gesture began as a hoax but became a symbol of white supremacy, according to the ADL. It was flashed in court by the man accused of killing 51 people at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, in 2019. The bowlcut is associated with Dylann Roof, who was convicted of killing nine African-Americans at a church in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2015.

Other new entries include the Happy Merchant meme, which depicts a drawing of a stereotypical-looking Jewish man greedily rubbing his hands together, and “Anudda Shoah,” a phrase that became popular with white supremacists in 2014 who claim Jews bring up the Holocaust, or Shoah in Hebrew, when confronted with anything they don’t like.

Also included are the logos of various hate groups, including the neo-Confederate white supremacist League of the South; the neo-Nazi National Socialist Legion; the Rise Above Movement; the Patriot Front; and the American Identity Movement, successor to Identity Evropa.

“These are the latest calling cards of hate,” said Mark Pitcavage, senior fellow in ADL’s Center on Extremism and an expert on hate symbology. “While some hate symbols are short-lived, others take on a life of their own and become tools for online trolling. We pay special attention to those symbols that exhibit staying power as well as those that move from online usage into the real world.”

Such symbols have appeared at white supremacist events such as the “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville. The slogans and symbols also frequently appear online in venues such as 4chan, 8chan and Reddit. Some have also spread into other more popular mainstream platforms such as Twitter and Facebook, or gaming platforms.

ADL created the Hate on Display symbols database in 2000 as part of its effort to track hate groups.

AG slams PM for requesting broadcast of his indictment hearing

Israeli Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit rejected a request by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu that his upcoming pre-indictment hearing for pending charges on bribery be broadcast live to the public, rebuking Netanyahu for what Mandelblit called an ‘unprecedented’ request.

“This request is unprecedented and lacks any legal basis whatsoever,” Mandelblit wrote in response to Netanyahu’s request.

“No hearing in any matter for any suspect was ever held in a public way. Instead of making a pointless request that you knew would not be accepted, it would have been better for you to submit [summaries] of your main arguments.”

“I’d almost say that your request is disrespectful of the hearing process which we are about to enter, and that it reduces the great importance which this Attorney General attributes to it.”

Mandelblit added that pre-indictment hearings were intended to “give the suspect who has requested the opportunity a chance to express his claims before law enforcement officials, and to convince the authorities that there is no just basis for an indictment against him in the matter. Hearings are not intended to convince the public.”

The Attorney General’s sharp rebuke came in response to an appeal by Netanyahu to Mandelblit that the upcoming pre-indictment hearing the Prime Minister faces be broadcast live to the public.

The Attorney General announced that Netanyahu would be indicted on charges of fraud and breach of trust in the Case 1000 and 2000 investigations, and pending a pre-indictment hearing, would face charges of bribery – the most serious charges recommended by the police – in the Case 4000 matter.

The bribery allegations revolve around claims – which have been denied by Netanyahu – that the Prime Minister pushed regulatory changes which would benefit the Bezeq telecommunications company, owned by Shaul Elovitch, in exchange for favorable coverage from a news site owned by Elovitch.

Netanyahu’s illicit dealings benefited tycoon by $500 million, AG alleges

Netanyahu to AG: Broadcast hearing live. Case 1000, 2000 and 4000.

PM Netanyahu on Thursday made an unusual call to the Attorney General to allow a live broadcast of the hearing involving the cases against him, to open next week.

In the video Netanyahu posted, he says, “Next week the hearing will open. After three years of a flood of deliberate, partial leaks, it’s time for the public to hear everything. My side, too, fully – without mediators, without censors and without distortions. Therefore, I am asking the AG to open the hearing to live broadcast.”

“I think this is what is needed – this is what Justice Melcer did with the election committee hearings, this is what President Rivlin did in relation to the discussions with the parties. These are things that give the public confidence.”

“You know that transparency gives the truth. After all, in any event there will be leaks, we already see 300 leaks with no treatment and no investigation. Therefore, this practice will continue,” Netanyahu attacked.

“Well then, why should the public will be fed by partial information? On the contrary, let everything come out – not only do I have nothing to hide – I want everything to be heard. This is my request, a live broadcast of the hearing, so we will ensure justice and truth,” the prime minister concluded.

“I’ll bring dozens of witnesses who, astonishingly, were not questioned,” Netanyahu promised. He would also produce the documents and protocols “to show my actions were beyond reproach.”

The “house of cards will collapse,” he predicted, and added with a smile, in a reference to Case 4000, “I’m 4000% sure.” (note: feb.2019)

Mandelblit settled for lesser charges in Case 1000 and Case 2000, reserving the graver bribery charge for the Bezeq-Walla Case 4000.

Haredi rabbi refuses to officiate Liberman’s son’s wedding

A Bnei Brak rabbi has refused to officiate at the marriage of the son of Avigdor Liberman, the head of the Yisrael Beytenu party.

Amos Liberman lived a haredi lifestyle, attends Diskin’s yeshiva and maintains a close relationship with him, according to reports.

The rabbi would need special permission to officiate at the marriage since he is not registered with the chief rabbinate to perform wedding ceremonies, The Yeshiva World news website reported.

Rabbi David Grossman, who has officiated at many high-profile weddings in Israel, reportedly will officiate.

Another controversy surrounding the wedding being reported by Israeli media is that Amos Liberman wants to have a haredi wedding but his father objects.

“The wedding will be Jewish, not haredi, as there will be rabbis, secular people and religious people at the wedding,” Liberman’s office told Israeli media in a statement.

Zelensky marks his first UN speech with a blatant lie

This death is used by the Ukrainian propaganda because before joining the frontlines in the Donbass, Vasily Slipak was a famous opera singer. He was also a member of the Nazi-infested “volunteer” battalion fighting on the side of the Kiev government.

Zelensky showed a 12.7 mm bullet, which allegedly was used by a sniper to kill Slipak. Allegedly, the exact bullet.

This is in complete contrast to a testimony given in an interview to media by a Donetsk People’s Republic soldier, known by the handle of “Sailor” (Moryachok). In 2016, Sailor admitted  (use the translator for article) that during the fighting he was the one that shot at the APU machine-gun crew, in which the opera singer served, in order to protect his fellow soldiers’ lives.

  • He did say something else interesting – Sailor never let go of his weapon throughout the entire time – a 7.62 mm caliber Dragunov Sniper rifle.

To provide a little bit of context, following is a list of the most common sniper bullets. The Dragunov’s 7.62 mm one is the very first one on the left of the photograph. The one Zelensky showed, the 12.7 mm one is the one on the far right.

It seemingly makes it impossible to make an “honest mistake” with saying that he just accidentally showed the “wrong bullet.”

But there are two things to consider:

  1. The bullet, Zelensky claims, is the exact bullet that shot Slipak. However, the bullet he is holding in his hand is almost brand new, it has no abrasions, no burn marks, no deformations.
  2. The Ukrainian side did claim from the very start that a 12.7 mm sniper rifle bullet killed Slipak. So, either the DPR sniper is lying about taking the shot, or the Ukrainian side is lying from the very start regarding which weapon killed the opera singer.

These are both rather insignificant, what is noteworthy is that Zelensky continues former President Petro Poroshenko’s actions, almost to the note.

In earlier UNGAs, Poroshenko brought part of the body of the bus, which was blown up by a mine. The bus was blown up in a zone controlled by Kiev, but the Donbass militia was accused of it.

Poroshenko also brought to the UN several Russian passports, which were allegedly taken from prisoners in the Donbass. Taking into account that multilpe Russian citizens came to the conflict zone as volunteers to help protect the local population from the Kiev regime, it hardly can be some important revelation. However, the Poroshenko government failed to provide military IDs that real servicemembers should have.

In addition, Zelensky’s speeches are also largely the same as Poroshenko’s. Notably, he presents as a victim the Nazi, who left the opera, to go and fight on the side of the battalions in the Donbass.
