‘Average’ effectiveness & unexplained side effects: 7 QUESTIONS that AstraZeneca needs to answer about its COVID-19 vaccine

The British-Swedish company, which has developed its candidate vaccine together with the University of Oxford, “will begin the submission of the clinical data to regulators around the world that have a framework in place for emergency use or conditional approval,” its spokesman said on Monday, adding that the list of the regulators that will receive the application particularly includes the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The statement came as the drug manufacturer published interim results of the vaccine’s clinical trials, which it said “showed the vaccine was highly effective in preventing COVID-19” and declaring its overall effectiveness to amount to 70 percent – much lower than 90-percent efficacy that other leading vaccine candidates showed.

Yet, some information published by the company appeared to be quite puzzling, while some data seemed to be lacking.

AstraZeneca might eventually find itself in need of answering key questions about its would-be jab as it rushed to get regulators’ approval for it.

1.Half dose or full dose?

The company’s assessment of its vaccine effectiveness in fact comes as an estimated average for two slightly different tests. AstraZeneca admitted in its Monday release that a group of volunteers initially got a half-dose jab, followed by afull one a month later. Another, larger, group got two full doses.

The first regimen showed 90-percent efficacy, although such results were based on analysis of slightly more than 2,700 volunteers. The second one, which involved almost 8,900 people, showed only a 62-percent efficacy.

Such a discrepancy shows that AstraZeneca has two approaches to its vaccine use, demonstrating quite different results, and that it may probably need to file for approval of each one separately.

Which one would it choose, if any? How long will the new clinical trials take, as results from these will be needed for any dose changes? Or will it stick to its “average” assessment approach?

2.Admitting mistakes?

The half-dose shots administered to a group of volunteers were, in fact, the result off a mistake, Mene Pangalos, head of AstraZeneca’s non-oncology research and development, admitted to Reuters.

Yet, this mistake went virtually unnoticed until the researchers started evaluating side-effects after the first dose.

Still, the company decided to just press on with the trials and simply to administer the second dose to those who received only half of the first one. Such an approach may be problematic with some regulators, such as the FDA, according to some analysts.

“I don’t believe that the FDA will look positively at any trial where the dose, or the age cohorts, or any other variable were changed mid-trial, inadvertently or deliberately,” Geoffrey Porges, an SVB Leerink analyst, said.

If, as Mene Pangalos says, it was a mistake, when and how did this mistake occur? Would AstraZeneca check up on its clinical trial results once again to make sure no other mistakes had creeped into its research?

3.Solving a puzzle?

One of the most perplexing statements made by AstraZeneca is that its half-dose approach seemingly proved to be more effective than the full-dose one. After all, it was the half-dose group results that showed the vaccine’s 90-percent efficacy.

A larger dosage usually produces a stronger immune response, so such results made many experts wonder. Still, the vaccine developers apparently cannot explainthe results either, at least for now.

Sarah Gilbert, an Oxford University professor of vaccinology that co-developed the vaccine together with specialists from AstraZeneca, told Bloomberg she was “surprised” by such results, adding that she was not sure if the company had the “full answer,” and citing the need to “look into it some more.”

So, would it be reasonable for AstraZeneca to seek the vaccine’s approval at a time when it is not sure why the jab works the way it works?

4.Concealing facts?

A report by Bloomberg suggested, citing Moncef Slaou, the head of the US Operation Warp Speed program, that the supposedly highly-effective half-dose regimen was administered to participants in a younger group that were no older than 55 years-old. The full-dose test, in turn, included elderly people.

Yet, AstraZeneca says nothing of this in its press release, although such details could be crucial for understanding how a vaccine works, as well as for assessing its real effectiveness. The company’s silence in this instance raises a number of questions.

Why did it not disclose those facts, if they are true? Why did it not refute them, if they are false? Were there any other differences between the participants of the trials when it comes to demography or any other characteristics, such as their states of health?

5.Not enough evidence?

Results presented by AstraZeneca were based on data received from just over 11,000 participants – roughly a half of the 23,000 included in the trials. As for its supposedly highly effective half-dose regimen, it was administered to fewer than 3,000 volunteers.

Such numbers might not be enough for Phase-Three vaccine trials to be considered successful.

Apart from that, the company only mentioned that it had recorded a total of 131 Covid-19 cases among the participants, without disclosing whether anyone of those who did receive the vaccine in any dosage had contracted the disease.

Will AstraZeneca disclose additional data and possibly start new clinical trials specifically to prove the effectiveness of its half-dose regimen? The company has not yet announced any such plans.

6.Unexplained side effects?

AstraZeneca’s clinical trials have previously been briefly suspended in the UK over reports about two cases of possible autoimmune diseases linked to them. At least one of the participants was reported to have developed a serious spinal inflammatory disorder called transverse myelitis.

The person in question later reportedly recovered and the trials were resumed. However, the company has not yet provided any solid explanation for those incidents. Whether such information would be made public is still an open question.

7.Evading responsibility?

What AstraZeneca did, though, was to secure full indemnity from all damages in most countries that struck vaccine-supply deals with the company. Such agreements were reached in July, well before the somewhat puzzling test data arrived.

“This is a unique situation where we as a company simply cannot take risk if in ..four years the vaccine is showing side effects,” Ruud Dobber, a member of Astra’s senior executive team, told Reuters.

Would the drug manufacturer change its stance now and agree to share some legal risks in case any damage would emanate from its own mistakes during the clinical trials? This is particularly concerning, as there is no long-term study to date of the safety of chimpanzee adenovirus vector vaccine.

When will its long-term effects be studied and presented to the public?

Former Pfizer Science Officer Reveals Great COVID-19 Scam

I’ve written several articles about scientists and medical doctors who question the official narrative about the COVID-19 pandemic and the global measures put into place because of it, from useless testing, mask wearing and social distancing, to lockdowns, tracking and tracing and the baseless fearmongering driving it all.

In the video above, British journalist Anna Brees interviews Michael Yeadon, Ph.D., a former vice-president and chief scientific adviser of the drug company Pfizer and founder and CEO of the biotech company Ziarco, now owned by Novartis.

In it, he discusses several concerns, including his belief that widespread PCR testing is creating the false idea that the pandemic is resurging, as the total mortality rate is completely normal. He also discusses his concerns about COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

PCR Testing Is Causing a False ‘Casedemic’

As I explained in “Asymptomatic ‘Casedemic’ Is a Perpetuation of Needless Fear,” by using PCR testing, which cannot diagnose active infection, a false narrative has been created.

Currently, rising “cases,” meaning positive tests, are again being used as the justification to impose more severe restrictions, including lockdowns and mandatory mask wearing, when in fact positive tests have nothing to do with the actual spread of illness.

According to Yeadon, the U.K. has now tested an estimated 30 million people, or close to half of the population. “A large number of those tests have been recent,” Yeadon says, noting that the definition of a “coronavirus death” in the U.K. is anyone who dies, from any cause, within 28 days of a positive COVID-19 test.

You cannot have a lethal pandemic stalking the land and not have excess deaths.

  • Michael Yeadon, Ph.D.

So, what we’re seeing now is a natural death rate — about 1,700 people die each day in the U.K. in any given year, Yeadon says — but many of these deaths are now falsely attributed to COVID-19. “I’m calling out the statistics, and even the claim that there is an ongoing pandemic, as false,” he says.

He challenges anyone who doesn’t believe him to seek out any database on total mortality. If you do that, you will find that the daily death count is “absolutely bang-on normal,” Yeadon says.

For some months, the death count is actually slightly lower than the average norm over the past five years. And, he adds, “You cannot have a lethal pandemic stalking the land and not have excess deaths.”

Lack of Routine Medical Care Is Causing Uptick in Deaths

The slight uptick in deaths that are now being reported simply aren’t directly due to COVID-19, he insists.

Data show these deaths — primarily people aged 45 to 65, with equal distribution between the sexes — are mainly from heart disease, stroke and cancer, which suggests they are excess deaths caused by inaccessibility of routine medical care as people are either afraid or discouraged from going to the hospital.

These deaths may be characterized as being COVID related, but that’s only because they have been falsely lumped into that category due to false positives being recorded within 28 days of death.

Again, people are being tested very regularly, and the rate of false positives is extremely high. All hospital patients are also tested upon admission, so when they die — regardless of the cause — they’re likely to have a false positive on their record, which then lumps them into the death tally for COVID-19.

“The longer you stay in hospital, the more likely you are to die, obviously,” Yeadon says. “You would be released if you were well and improving. So … long-stay patients are both more likely to die statistically, and much more likely to be tested so often that they’ll have a false positive test.

That is what I think is happening … It’s a convenience for someone playing some macabre game, because I don’t think it’s an error anymore … I’ve spoken to people in [public health] and they’re embarrassed that they’re not even being allowed to characterize and publish the information you would need to know to work out how useful the test is. That’s not being done.”

Can You Get Reinfected?

Yeadon also says he’s “sick and tired” of people claiming that immunity against SARS-CoV-2 may wane after a short time, leaving you vulnerable to reinfection. If you’ve been ill with COVID-19 and recover, you will have antibodies against the virus, and you will be immune, he says.

He understands that journalists may get this wrong, or may be given incorrect information, but if a scientist says this, “they are lying to you,” he says. Yeadon categorically denies the premise that you can recover from COVID-19 and later get reinfected and experience severe illness again.

According to Yeadon, there are only two ways by which COVID-19 would not provide lasting immunity:

The first would be if it destroys your immune system. The HIV virus, for example, which causes AIDS, disarms your immune system, causing permanent impairment. Hence you do not become immune to the HIV virus. Coronaviruses do not do that.

The second way is if the virus mutates, which is common among influenza viruses. If the virus mutates, your immune system may not fully recognize it and will have to mount a defense again, thereby creating another set of antibodies. However, coronaviruses are genetically stable, Yeadon says.

(For transparency, there have been reports of SARS-CoV-2 mutating, [1] so it’s not impossible that some people might get reinfected with a slightly mutated version of the virus that might make them sick again.)

Hidden Agenda in Plain Sight

As noted by Yeadon, people are now changing the laws of immunology, which simply shouldn’t happen. This should not be a political issue, but somehow it is being treated as one. He claims to have no ideas at all as to why these false narratives are being created, and why scientific truth that contradicts the mainstream narrative is being censored.

Others, however, have become more outspoken about this issue, pointing out how the pandemic is being used as a convenient excuse and justification for redistribution of wealth and the technocratic takeover of the whole world under the banner of a Great Reset to a “more equitable” social order and greener commerce.

It’s being used to usher in social changes that simply could never be introduced without some sort of calamity, be it war or a biological threat, because they involve a radical limitation of personal freedoms and the elimination of privacy. Those in charge of pandemic response measures also refuse to take into account the price of these measures.

When making public health decisions, you need to calculate the cost in terms of lives saved and the price in dollars and cents of saving those people, against the cost of not implementing the measure in question. This is not being done. The question is why is such an illogical stance being taken?

Yeadon on Vaccination

Toward the end of the interview, Yeadon addresses the issue of COVID-19 vaccination. Many are nervous about it becoming mandatory, and rightfully so. Vaccine passports are already being rolled out, and all the indicators point to vaccination becoming a requirement for travel, perhaps even within national borders.

Having spent his career in the pharmaceutical industry, Yeadon fully supports vaccination, believing they prevent large numbers of deaths.

However, when it comes to SARS-CoV-2, he believes the vaccine will only benefit the elderly. For those over 80, a vaccine might give them a few more months of life.

“Nobody else needs this [vaccine],” he says. “You don’t vaccinate a population because 1 in 1 million might have a bad outcome [from the infection].” He also strongly believes the vaccine must be voluntary:

“It’s an appalling … public platform to suggest that the only way we get our lives back is to mass vaccinate the population. Something very smelly is going on. It’s simply not appropriate. I don’t even think it would work.”

In an open letter to the British health minister, Yeadon wrote: [2]

“I have read the consultation document. I’ve rarely been as shocked and upset. All vaccines against the SARS-COV-2 virus are by definition novel. No candidate vaccine has been in development for more than a few months. If any such vaccine is approved for use under any circumstances that are not EXPLICITLY experimental, I believe that recipients are being misled to a criminal extent.

This is because there are precisely zero human volunteers for whom there could possibly be more than a few months past-dose safety information. My concern does not arise because I have negative views about vaccines (I don’t).

Instead, it’s the very principle that politicians seem ready to waive that new medical interventions at this, incomplete state of development, should not be made available to subjects on anything other than an explicitly experimental basis. That’s my concern.

And the reason for that concern is that it is not known what the safety profile will be, six months or a year or longer after dosing. You have literally no data on this and neither does anyone else.

It isn’t that I’m saying that unacceptable adverse effects will emerge after longer intervals after dosing. No: it is that you have no idea what will happen yet, despite this, you’ll be creating the impression that you do …

I don’t trust you. You’ve not been straightforward and have behaved appallingly throughout this crisis. You’re still doing it now, misleading about infection risk from young children. Why should I believe you in relation to experimental vaccines?”

What Can You Do?

In his interview with Brees, Yeadon suggests medical professionals, especially those who are members of a professional society, who disagree with further pandemic measures — based on the medical facts — write an open letter to the government, urging them to speak to and heed the recommendations from independent experts.

Arm yourself with mortality statistics and the facts on PCR testing, so you can explain how and why this pandemic simply isn’t a pandemic anymore. First and foremost, there are no excess deaths. The same number of people have died this year that, on average, have died in previous years. This simply wouldn’t be the case if we had a lethal pandemic.

Second, the PCR test is not a valid diagnostic tool and should not be done on the scale we’re now doing it. The high rate of false positives is only fodder for needless fearmongering. “People should demand to know what [the false positive] rate is,” Yeadon says.

Additionally, “testing people who are well — it’s just a madcap thing,” he says. Virtually no one who is asymptomatic has the live virus, but when you run the test at a cycle threshold over 30, meaning you amplify the viral RNA more than 30 times, you end up with a positive test even if the virus is inactive and noninfectious.

“Let’s get back to the facts,” Yeadon says. “There are no excess deaths. But that’s not what you hear from the BBC now, is it? I’m never going to trust the BBC again, by the way. I’ve watched BBC for 41 years. [They’re] never coming back into my ears, because they’ve lied in my face all year … There’s a fraud going on …

You’re walking into voluntary house arrest when there are no excess deaths. Why are you doing that? Seriously? … I’m fearful, because it doesn’t make any sense and there are no benign outcomes.”

Get Organized

It’s easy to get so confused that you can no longer think straight these days. As explained by Dr. Peter Breggin, featured in “Psychiatrist Blows the Whistle on Pandemic Fearmongering,” when you add uncertainty to fear you end up with anxiety, a state in which you can no longer think logically.

If this applies to you, I urge you to turn off mainstream media news and turn to independent experts, such as Yeadon. Do the research. Read through the science. Reorient yourself to the facts and turn off the propaganda. Next, join a group so that you can have support.

A number of groups have formed around the world that are now rising up against mask mandates, mandatory vaccinations and lockdowns. A few examples of such groups include:

  • Us for Them, a group campaigning for reopening schools and protecting children’s rights in the U.K.
  • Keep Britain Free
  • The COVID Recovery Group (CRG), founded by 50 conservative British MPs to fight lockdown restrictions [3]
  • In the U.S., a team of attorneys, doctors, business owners and parents started the Freedom to Breathe Agency, which is fighting to protect freedom and liberty
  • Additional sources of information and groups fighting for truth and transparency that are worth checking out include:
  • The Great Barrington Declaration, [4] which calls for an end to lockdowns. As of November 18, 2020, it had been signed by 34,973 medical practitioners, 12,070 medical and public health scientists, and 634,838 concerned citizens [5]
  • Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s The Defender, a new newsletter that publishes “banned” news
  • The German COVID-19 Extra-Parliamentary Inquiry Committee (ACU2020.org), which is launching an international class-action lawsuit against a long list of authorities over the global pandemic response
  • In Spain, more than 600 doctors have formed Doctors for the Truth (Medicos por la verdad)
  • In the U.S., doctors have formed a group called America’s Frontline Doctors, which is fighting to make hydroxychloroquine available across the nation

After years of relying on Roscomos to deliver its astronauts to space, Washington now plans sanctions on Russian space agency

As well as Roscosmos, the proposed sanctions would also target Rosatom, the federal nuclear energy agency, as one of 28 organizations in the aviation, rocket, space, nuclear, instrument and engine industries.

According to news agency RIA Novosti, which has seen the document, the suggested measures are also aimed at Chinese companies who work with Beijing’s military.

Out of all the proposed sanctions, measures against Roscosmos would clearly be the most significant, as the US space program has relied on Russian technology for quite some time.

From 2011 until earlier this year, Russia’s Soyuz spacecraft was the only means for Americans to reach the International Space Station. The American Atlas V launch system also relies heavily on Russian space tech, with its first stage powered by a RD-180 engine.

In 2020, the White House has repeatedly increased sanctions against Russian enterprises, both public and private. In particular, Washington has focused on stopping the Russo-German Nord Stream 2 pipeline, which the US considers to be a threat to its ability to sell liquefied natural gas to the European market. Companies involved in pipe-laying and insuring the project have fallen under the measures.

On Tuesday, Washington imposed restrictions on three Russian companies due to alleged violations of US non-proliferation legislation in regards to Iran, North Korea and Syria. The measures against Aviazapchast, Elecon and Nilco Group were said by the Russian ambassador to the US, Anatoly Antonov, to be “discriminatory.”

“There is no doubt that the unilateral US measures are aimed at ‘undermining’ the economic potential of Russian companies,” Antonov said.

Study suggests plasma therapy for COVID-19 largely ineffective

The results of a medium-sized clinical trial conducted in Argentina suggest that one mode of treatment for coronavirus, that of using plasma harvested from people who have recovered from the illness, is not as effective as was previously hoped.

According to Reuters, the study involved 333 patients hospitalized with severe cases of pneumonia brought on by COVID-19 infection.

The patients were randomly assigned to plasma treatment or placebo, and after 30 days, the mortality rate was almost identical in the two groups (11. % in the plasma-treated group versus 11.4% in the placebo group).

The study was published in the New England Journal of Medicine, which concluded that the therapy known as “convalescent plasma” did not cause any significant improvement to patients’ health or chances of recovery.

All the same, the leader of the study, Dr. Ventura Simonovich of the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires, said that the study had not ruled out the possibility of plasma treatment being helpful for milder cases of COVID-19 complications.

Will Trump attack Iran? The IDF prepares

The political echelon has instructed the IDF to prepare for a scenario of US action against Iran before the departure of President Donald Trump from the White House in January.

Senior Israeli officials involved in the matter told Walla’s political correspondent Barak Ravid that the political echelon’s directive to the military did not come because of information or an estimate that the Trump administration would act against Iran, but more because of the sensitive period in the weeks leading up to the January 20 change of government in Washington.

Defense Minister Benny Gantz has spoken twice in the past two weeks with Acting US Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller. These talks dealt with the Iranian issue, the situation in Syria and the security memorandum of understanding between Israel and the United States.

According to the Walla report, if the Trump administration acts against Iran, Israel is expected to receive advance warning of the action.

However, due to the great uncertainty, the army has been instructed to ensure that Israel’s defense systems are ready for any scenario which may arise from a US attack on Iran.

Israel fears that in the event of an American attack, the Iranians may retaliate by attacking Israel through the pro-Iranian militias in Syria or the Hezbollah terrorist organization in Lebanon.

OxyContin manufacturer pleads guilty to three criminal charges

Purdue Pharma, the company that has been producing the opioid painkiller OxyContin for the past few decades, has pleaded guilty to three criminal charges, CBS News reports, following an ongoing saga of apportioning blame in what has been called an opioid epidemic, contributing to the deaths of around half a million people.

Last month, Purdue reached a $8.3 billion settlement and agreed to admit its guilt in enabling the supply of drugs “without legitimate medical purpose.”

The U.S. Department of Justice said at the time that it would forgo most of the penalty money and channel it instead to communities severely impacted by the opioid crisis.

In addition, the Sackler family agreed to relinquish control of the company, which had in any case already filed for bankruptcy.

During the virtual hearing on Tuesday, Purdue board chairman Steve Miller, who assumed control of the company only in 2018, admitted to impeding the efforts of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in its efforts to combat the addiction crisis.

Miller also admitted that Purdue told the DEA that it had a program in place to prevent its drugs from reaching the black market, when no such program existed. He also pleaded guilty regarding inducements paid out to doctors encouraging them to prescribe OxyContin, even as the extent of the opioid crisis was becoming wider and clearer.

At present, only $225 million of the $8.3 billion are to be paid out to the government, and the Sackler family has agreed to pay an identical amount to the government to settle civil claims.

Critics want to see the Sacklers assuming personal responsibility and are demanding that criminal claims be leveled against them directly rather than against the company – which may yet come to pass.

Following its guilty plea, Purdue issued a statement “taking responsibility for past misconduct [which] is an essential step to preserve billions of dollars of value for creditors and advance our goal of providing financial resources and live-saving medicines to address the opioid crisis.”

Attorneys-general for around half of U.S. states have opposed the federal settlement, as well as the separation it creates between the Sackler family and its company. They have already filed documents directly linking members of the Sackler family to Purdue’s aggressive sales tactics, even after the crisis was no longer a matter of dispute, and have evidence of statements made by Sackler family members charging employees with doing everything necessary to “save the business.”

Head of WHO suggests COVID-19 restrictions will continue even AFTER VACCINE

The head of the World Health Organization has suggested that coronavirus restrictions will continue even after a vaccine has been made widely available.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus made the comments on Twitter after news broke of several new vaccines said to be effective in fighting COVID-19 coming closer to fruition.

“Since the beginning of the #COVID19 pandemic, we knew that a vaccine would be essential for bringing the pandemic under control. But it’s important to emphasise that a vaccine will complement the other tools we have, not replace them,” said Ghebreyesus.

He went on to add that quarantines, surveillance, contact tracing and other measures would all be continued even after vaccine uptake becomes widespread.

As we have exhaustively highlighted, numerous other prominent individuals have asserted that rolling lockdowns, mask wearing, social distancing and other restrictions are here to stay after the pandemic is over.

In his book COVID-19: The Great Reset, World Economic Forum globalist Klaus Schwab asserts that the world will “never” return to normal, despite him admitting that coronavirus “doesn’t pose a new existential threat.”

A senior U.S. Army official also said that mask wearing and social distancing will become permanent, while CNN’s international security editor Nick Paton Walsh asserted that the mandatory wearing of masks will become “permanent,” “just part of life,” and that the public would need to “come to terms with it.”

Commenting on the issue, Joseph Massey said Ghebreyesus’ statement re-affirmed the fact that COVID lockdowns are more about “social engineering” than ending a pandemic.

“I’m not a conspiracy theorist, nor am I a COVID denier, but people like this make it difficult not to believe that lockdowns are more about social engineering than they are about stopping the virus,” he tweeted.

“A vaccine is not a “complement” to being isolated and muzzled like an animal.”

Two Il-76 planes with military medics leave for Nagorno-Karabakh

Two Il-76 military transport planes with medics of the Eastern Military District have left for Nagorno-Karabakh, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Wednesday.

“The first two Il-76 planes redeploying a special-purpose medical group of the Eastern Military District to the area of accomplishing tasks in Nagorno-Karabakh have left Khabarovsk-Novy Airport,” the statement reads.

Overall, military transport planes will airlift 122 personnel, 54 motor and special vehicles and 66 tonnes of supplies to Nagorno-Karabakh, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported.

The military medics have been sent to Nagorno-Karabakh to provide medical assistance to Russian peacekeepers and local residents, the statement says.

“The group comprises doctors and nursing and junior medical staff who will be constantly ready to provide first medical, professional and specialized medical aid,” Russia’s Defense Ministry reported.

The medical group earlier performed a march from its permanent base to Khabarovsk-Novy Airport.

Russia’s peacekeeping mission

On November 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a joint statement on a complete ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh starting from November 10.

The Russian leader said the Azerbaijani and Armenian forces would maintain the positions that they had held and Russian peacekeepers would be deployed to the region.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh is comprised of units from the 15th separate motor rifle (peacekeeping) brigade of the Central Military District.

The Russian peacekeepers have set up observation posts along the engagement line in Nagorno-Karabakh and along the Lachin corridor that connects Armenia with the enclave to exercise control of the ceasefire observance. The peacekeeping mission’s command is stationed in the area of Stepanakert in Nagorno-Karabakh. The situation is being monitored around the clock.

Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan believes that Russian peacekeepers will stay in Nagorno-Karabakh for more than five years.

“True, five years may be enough to create guarantees of security and stability in the region. But the Karabakh conflict is a prolonged one, so I do not believe that the presence of Russian peacekeepers will be confined to one five-year period,” Pashinyan told TASS in an interview.

Iran’s parliament demands construction of heavy water reactor

Iran’s parliament on Tuesday passed a bill requiring the country’s atomic agency to build a new heavy water reactor and operate a metal uranium production plant as part of efforts to challenge international sanctions on its nuclear program, state media reported.

The parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission spokesman, Abolfazl Amouei, was quoted by various Iranian news outlets as saying the bill was officially called “Strategic Action to Lift Sanctions.”

He said the law requires the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran to redesign and optimize a new 40-megawatt heavy water reactor in Arak within four months.

Since US President Donald Trump pulled out of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal with world powers and began imposing crushing economic sanctions on Tehran, the Islamic Republic has retaliated by producing more and more highly enriched fissile material in violation of the agreement, getting closer and closer to a bomb, while still leaving room for a return to negotiations.

The UN’s atomic watchdog agency said earlier this month that Iran continues to increase its stockpile of low-enriched uranium far beyond the limits set in the accord and to enrich it to a greater purity than permitted.

German Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Andrea Sasse said this week that Iran was systematically violating the accord, ahead of a meeting between the German, French and British foreign ministers on the matters.

US President-elect Joe Biden has said he hopes to return the US to the accord, under which Iran agreed to limit its nuclear activities in exchange for the lifting of international sanctions.

Biden has argued that Trump’s withdrawal from the deal signaled to American allies that the US could not be trusted to stick to agreements and that while the accord may not have been perfect, it had been effective at blocking Iran’s path to a nuclear weapon.

Taking a step back from the brink, Iran’s foreign minister said last week that Tehran was willing to return to the deal if Biden lifts sanctions on Iran after entering the White House.

On Sunday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned against reengaging with Iran on the nuclear deal, saying, “There can be no going back to the previous nuclear agreement. We must stick to an uncompromising policy of ensuring that Iran will not develop nuclear weapons.”

His comments echoed his bitter opposition to the deal when it was being negotiated by the Obama administration, and contrast starkly with Biden’s pledge to “rejoin” the accord.

‘Zombie mink rise to exact revenge’: Hordes of dead ‘corona’ animals in Denmark resurface from grave after mass cull

Public broadcaster DR showed a chilling video of hordes of unearthed animal carcasses lying jam-packed inside the mass burial site at the Holstebro military training ground in the country’s northwest.

National Berlingske daily jokingly described the phenomenon as “dead zombie mink rising from the grave to exact revenge” after the government had culled between 15 million and 17 million animals earlier this month.

However, the reemergence of the carcasses is completely natural, officials assured. “Gases are formed during decomposition, which causes the bodies to swell a little and, in worst cases, they get pushed out of the ground,” police spokesperson Thomas Kristensen explained.

Kristensen said that the mink carcasses had most recently resurfaced early on Monday morning, but this has also happened before. The authorities have tried to solve the problem by laying more soil over the dead animals, however, a meter of soil turned out to be insufficient to keep them underground.

According to DR, mink will now be buried under 2.5 meters (6.5 feet) of soil instead of one.

The government ordered the mass slaughter of mink on farms after a mutated version of the coronavirus was discovered in some animals. Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen later admitted that the government had no legal authority to issue such an order and apologized.

Netanyahu Ditches Rule Book to Become Super Statesman in Saudi Arabia

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s surprise visit to Saudi Arabia at the beginning of the week has opened up a new affair: the Prime Minister’s Office forbidding his military secretary, Brig. Gen. Avi Bluth, to report to his superiors in the Israel Defense Forces about the trip while it was happening.

Netanyahu is continuing to chalk up diplomatic achievements, but along the way he is ignoring most of the accepted rules of the game relating to the defense establishment. Netanyahu has been acting of late as someone who believes with all his heart that “L’état, c’est moi.”

The meeting in the Saudi city of Neom with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was held after a series of clandestine meetings between the sides, and was meant to bolster the anti-Iranian alliance in the region, which has grown closer during U.S. President Donald Trump’s tenure. But internal political considerations seem to have been behind the publication of the report in the Israeli media.

This time, the military censor was not asked to prevent the publication, as is customary in such cases. In addition, a tweet was posted by one of Netanyahu’s advisers – which may have been quickly corrected, but was enough to draw the attention of all Israeli media.

With the publication of the news on the meeting, Netanyahu wanted to achieve three goals: To reinforce his image as a super-statesman, capable of weaving secret and surprising moves with the Americans and Saudis; to yet again embarrass his coalition partners from Kahol Lavan, who once again learned about the secret trip from the press; and to quickly change the media agenda by removing from the headlines the commission of inquiry set up by Defense Minister Benny Gantz into the so-called submarine affair.

But to poke a finger in the eye of Kahol Lavan, it is necessary to preserve compartmentalization. In the same way that he hid the normalization agreements with the UAE and Bahrain from Gantz and Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi, this week, too, Netanyahu hid his visit to Saudi Arabia. And in order for Gantz, the defense minister, not to know, it was necessary to keep chief of staff Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi out of the loop, too.

The person who suffered from all this was Bluth. It is not the first time Netanyahu has thrown him – or other military secretaries – under the bus when needed. Two years ago, the Prime Minister’s Office leaked the accusation that Bluth did not pass on to the military the decision to stop the evacuation of homes in Amona.

Back in 2009, Netanyahu’s media adviser Nir Hefetz – today a state’s witness against the prime minister – made sure to involve his then-military secretary, Maj. Gen. Meir Khalifa, in lies to the media to hide Netanyahu’s secret trip to meet Vladimir Putin.

Netanyahu is now at the stage where all means are justified in the battle for his survival – and it seems he doesn’t care about anyone else.

Even more important than the damage to Bluth is the damage to Kochavi. At the highest professional level, Kochavi was the only one who didn’t know about the trip. The media reported that Mossad chief Yossi Cohen and National Security Adviser Meir Ben Shabbat participated in the summit – and the head of the Shin Bet, Nadav Argaman (who reports to Netanyahu, not Gantz), seems to have learned of the meeting from the Shin Bet’s security unit, which accompanied Netanyahu on the trip.

The military tried on to recall whether a precedent exists for such an occurrence. Gen. (ret.) Danny Yatom, who was the military secretary for Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Peres, did say that when he served in the post at the heights of negotiations surrounding the Oslo Accords, there were many trips made without informing the chiefs of staff. But in recent years, the military has been under the impression that the Prime Minister’s Office knows to keep it updated discreetly, without any fear that anything will leak. What has changed, of course, is the nature of the relationship: Netanyahu could not stand his two previous defense ministers, Avigdor Lieberman and Naftali Bennett, but his relations with Gantz are even tenser and worse – certainly in light of the possibility of a fourth election within two years.

A trip such as Netanyahu’s requires, under proper procedures, clandestine but organized preparations by the government and military: The appointment of an acting prime minister, establishing communications procedures with the delegation, preparing the air force in advance in case of the need to carry out a rescue mission – what happens, for example, if the plane is forced to make an emergency landing in the Saudi desert? None of these things were done this time because of the desire to compartmentalize and embarrass Gantz and Kahol Lavan – as if they are not doing that job well enough themselves.

Under normal circumstances, Kochavi would have been expected to protest, but these are not normal circumstances. The latest incident just proves what Netanyahu’s rivals have said the entire time: As experienced and skilled as he may be, there is no way to continue to run a country as complicated as Israel, and stick to business, and keep your cool, all while when you are on trial in three serious corruption cases and spending a large part of your time trying to come up with political tricks to save you from your fate.

It is not about Trump or Biden

  • It is about Urban vs. Rural
  • It is about Globalist vs. Nationalist
  • It is about Cosmopolitans vs. Patriots
  • It is about Tribal vs. Universal
  • It is not about Democrats or Republicans
  • It is about Identitarians vs. Americans
  • It is about the ‘as a’ people vs. Authenticity
  • It is about a ‘Great Reset’ vs. longing for greatness
  • It is about Jerusalem vs. Athens
  • It is really about the ‘last days of the Weimar Republic’ all over again.

Throughout its history, capitalism has been using different tactics to suppress opposition.

At one stage it was the fantasy of an inevitable revolution. It is indeed the threat of that rebellious spirit which contributed to the evolvement of the welfare state, yet the promised revolution never materialized.

It doesn’t take a genius to gather that in historical perspective, those senses of freedom, productivity and hope which became Western emblems during the post-World War II era, had very little to do with our humanist desires and whims.

Our ‘freedom’ was manufactured to titillate the poor human fellows behind the Iron Wall. The Cold War which threatened to wipe out civilization was just the means towards capitalist growth.

Accordingly, it would be right to argue that we owe our post-war sense of ‘freedom’ to the USSR and Stalin. The more oppressive communism was, the more liberal the West pretended to be. Once the Soviet bloc evaporated, there was no need to sustain our ‘freedom.’ There was no one to ‘titillate’ with Coca Cola and McDonalds.

A new Battle Zone was required to divert the masses’ attention from their true eternal oppressors.

Once again it was the so-called ‘Left’ that provided the goods. Instead of the old Left mantra that called to unite us into a proletarian angry fist regardless of our race, skin color, gender or ethnicity, the ‘New Left’ introduced a completely new hymn.

Against the most basic Left universal ethos, the New Left taught us to think and speak ‘as a’: ‘as women,’ ‘as a gay,’ ‘as trans,’ ‘as a Jew,’ ‘as a Latino,’ ‘as a Black.’ We practically learned to fight each other instead of uniting into one people.

Instead of eliminating differences, we built new ghetto walls emphasizing and celebrating every possible dividing line (White/Black, male/female, heterosexual/LGBTQ etc.). Instead of identifying Wall Street, MSM propaganda and the technology giants as our fierce global enemy, these actually became the catalysts and cash suppliers in a war we, the people, foolishly declared upon ourselves.

In this new ‘Left’ Identitarian amalgam, every ‘as a’ voice is welcome except the White one.

Is it because anyone really believes that ‘White people’ are categorically or collectively bad? I doubt it. It is simply because the so-called ‘White’ was picked to play the ‘role’ of the Soviet bloc. The ‘White’ has become the new imaginary ‘evil.’

As things stand no one in America can unite the nation: neither Biden nor the DNC can introduce a harmonious solution as the above are actually extensions of the problem. Biden and the DNC are inherently tied to Wall Street, Soros, the MSM and technology giants that formulated and sustain this tragic battle. Trump and the GOP of course, cannot do much either, because in the eyes of his many opponents Trump himself is the core of this entire disaster. He is clearly ‘too white’ on top of being a ‘man’ and if this is not enough, he is also an abrasive narcissist.

What we see in America is practically the Weimar Republic all over again.

The public is losing its trust in the democratic process and democratic institutions. Poverty and public unrest is spiking. The national press and media are becoming more and more detached from larger segments of the population. Amidst all of this, Wall Street is booming. The two sides of this divide cannot tolerate each other. They are removed demographically, spiritually, culturally and intellectually.

Democracy is becoming a nostalgic notion [in the USA] and this shouldn’t take us by a big surprise as democracy and freedom are not and never have been prime capitalist goals or values.

Democracy and liberty were the means, not the goal. They were there to serve mammonism.* But not anymore; back in November 2016 Wall Street gathered that democracy is in the way. The City of London came to the same conclusion after the Brexit referendum.

If America wants to save itself, it may have to grasp its conditions first. It better transcend itself beyond the fake battle between Trump and Biden or between the Democrats and the GOP. America should figure out who is pushing it into the abyss of civil war.

America should figure out who works so hard and successfully, so far, to split it and every other Western country in the middle.

If Orwell’s 1984 carries any prophetic merit, it is easy to figure out who is taking care of the Big Brother’s role. What you may want to do next is figure out who is/what is the current Immanuel Goldstein? Who controls the opposition?

* Mammonism the obsessive pursuit of material wealth and possessions.

All Those Supporting Lockdowns and Compliance Have Blood on their Hands

“Disobedience is the true foundation of liberty. The obedient must be slaves.”

  • Henry David Thoreau (2006). “Thoreau and the Art of Life: Precepts and Principles”, p.23, Heron Dance Press

There is one thing that is perfectly clear about this predicament we are in today concerning the tyrannical takeover of this country and the world by the controlling few. That is that the people of this country are their own worst enemy, and have no claim to the ‘victim’ argument, because all their problems are self-induced. Every order taken has been voluntary, and that idiotic behavior has led to disaster and death.

The powerful have not used guns and bombs to gain the submission of the [American] people; the people simply did as they were instructed, down to destroying their livelihoods, harming their own families, hiding under their beds, wearing deadly masks, and allowing their lives to lose all meaning.

Cowardice at this level is so pathetic as to border on insanity.

What happened to this society to make the inhabitants act in such a pitiful and sorry manner? Is it simply fear? I think not, as real fear drives people to protect themselves, not voluntarily allow for their own slavery and death.

But there is much more to this mob reaction than meets the eye.

Most of the people [in this country] not only comply with every single draconian mandate, but also demand that others do so as well.

This means that most of the citizenry are not only destroying themselves, but also wish to inflict the same result on everyone else, especially those courageous dissenters with brain cells and the ability to see through this deception.

This gives new meaning to the idea of the herd choosing ‘equality’ by wanting everyone to be slaves, so that they can continue to wallow and complain about their chosen lot in life while hoping for their rulers to save them by dominating them.

What this exposes is that many of your neighbors are your enemy more so than any government. The people themselves are to blame for this travesty.

It is brutally obvious that this general population cannot see past a television screen locked on to CNN or Fox, and since both sides of the political spectrum believe almost identically, what chance is there of any awakening by large numbers of people?

It seems that the ruling members of society have carte blanche in their efforts to complete this communistic and technocratic takeover, because not only is there little if any real resistance to autocratic rule, but the sheep are actually helping those that wish to control them.

They have become the state, as they promote tyranny against all, and are willing to monitor and surveil their neighbors on behalf of the government.

This country has become a breeding ground for state sponsored stooges. The term that “people are basically good” has been turned on its head!

The lockdowns alone are responsible for massive death and destruction, and are now being ramped up around this country and the world in gleeful anticipation of the coming flu season. The upcoming holidays will be used as fodder to blame all those who wish to be with family and friends for causing new outbreaks of a fake virus, this while the state’s favored donors like Walmart, Costco, Amazon, and many other claimed ‘essential’ businesses, will welcome millions into their stores while commoner’s businesses will be closed due to the bogus risk of spreading a fake virus.

New orders, mandates, sanctions, and decrees are coming very soon, and any that wish to enjoy the holidays will be cursed for their selfish desires by the state and their neighbors as well.

The state and every single person supporting the state are fully responsible for all the carnage happening today. Massive poverty is upon us, as purposely-created food shortages are causing great havoc. Loss of income due to shutdowns is literally taking food out of the mouths of children worldwide. Government lockdowns have devastated most of this population, and caused job loss, destruction of livelihoods, and tremendous psychological damage. Suicides are completely out of control, and getting worse every day, all caused by the response to this false flag coup called Covid.

We are living in a time of madness, of murder, of brutality, of indifference, and of the planned destruction [of this country] and the human spirit.

Those involved in this fraud should be held accountable, and this includes not only the self-claimed ‘elite’ controllers, but also the government at every level, and all those that are supporting or calling for lockdowns, mandated vaccines, or any isolation measures whatsoever.

Any defending, justifying, and assisting government in these efforts are promoting the deaths of millions of people around the world.

Their blood is on your hands!

I will never forget those that are responsible for this carnage, or any citizen that assists the state in its efforts to destroy humanity.

As children starve, as suicide explodes, as poverty consumes the world, as poisons are forcibly injected into the innocent, as economies are purposely decimated, and as millions die, those that are responsible, those that assist and support this travesty, and those that stand silent, are all to blame, and are guilty of allowing murder, genocide, and abomination. The depth of this evil is limitless.

What manner of human is this?

Over 1 BILLION doses of Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine against COVID-19 expected in 2021 as producer promises low prices

The drug will be produced not only in Russia but also by “leading foreign pharmaceutical companies” who agreed to cooperation deals with the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF). Talks with additional international partners are underway to further increase production capacity.

“Sputnik V will be two or more times cheaper than mRNA vaccines with similar efficacy levels,” RDIF said in a statement.

A single dose of the Russian vaccine is going to cost $10, according to the producer, meaning it will set each person back $20 for two shots – which is still way below the price tags of US biotech firms Pfizer and Moderna, who are eyeing $39 and $50-74 for their vaccines, respectively.

Notably, it’s only foreign buyers who would need to pay up, as the Russians will be getting Sputnik V for free. International customers are scheduled to receive first shipments of the vaccine in January.

The new data announced by Moscow’s Gamaleya Center, which developed the Sputnik V formula, suggests that its vaccine is 95 percent effective. The result was based on Phase Three clinical trials that involved almost 20,000 volunteers who were administered two shots of the drug.

The competition is tough on the vaccine market, with Sputnik V facing a lot of criticism in the West since it became the world’s first registered vaccine against the virus in August. But with Covid-19 already infecting some 59.4 million and killing over 1.4 million people around the globe, Russia is eager to become a part of a global effort to stop the pandemic.

Pfizer and Moderna also reported that the effectiveness of their vaccines was at around 95 percent. Those are “very good” figures and “we have no reason to doubt” them, Kirill Dmitriev, RDIF’s CEO, told RT.

“It’s important for the world to have various vaccines. Sputnik V could be part of the countries’ vaccine package,” he pointed out.

Russia says data on Sputnik COVID-19 vaccine shows 95% efficacy

Russia has said that its coronavirus vaccine has more than 95% efficacy according to new preliminary data, giving it a success rate comparable to vaccines being developed by Pfizer and Moderna.

Russian officials also claimed their vaccine had greater efficacy than the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine because of Russia’s proprietary technology, which it offered to share with British scientists.

“Sputnik shows very high effectiveness, higher than 95%,” Kirill Dmitriev, the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, said during a briefing on Tuesday.

“This is indisputably positive news not just for Russia, but for the entire world, for all countries.”

The preliminary results were released as competition heats up among vaccine developers to mass produce a coronavirus jab and help bring the pandemic to an end.

Not everyone is convinced by Russia’s official data, however, and suspicions have been increased by the fact Russian authorities speedily licensed the vaccine before the results of stage three trials were available, as well as reports of state employees being coerced into taking part in trials.

While numerous countries have expressed an interest in studying or purchasing the vaccine, few western countries have signed up. Among EU nations, only Hungary has expressed a serious interest, causing friction with other members of the bloc. A spokesman for the European commission said the body “does not have any data regarding this Russian vaccine,” Interfax reported on Tuesday evening.

The Sputnik results were computed after 42 days of a study in which 19,000 participants received two doses of the vaccine and 21,000 participants received a single dose. Earlier data showed that the vaccine had an approximately 91.4% efficacy 28 days after participants received the first dose.

Top officials, including Dmitriev, claim to have taken the vaccine and have said they feel fine. The Kremlin said on Monday that Vladimir Putin had not had a coronavirus jab, with a spokesman saying that the president could not take part in a medical trial.

“After all, the president can’t use an uncertified vaccine,” said Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman.

A successful vaccine is Russia’s key to emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic, which has infected more than 2.15 million people in the country and is currently spreading at a record pace. Vladimir Putin and many regional heads have been hesitant to introduce a broad lockdown similar to earlier this year out of concern for the harm to the country’s economy.

The Russian prime minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the country’s priority was for Russians to have access to the vaccine. “Every person in every region in the country should have the possibility to be vaccinated against the disease,” he said, adding that: “Nobody is going to be forced to do this.”

But the vaccine’s development at Russia’s Gamaleya research institute has also been driven by the economic allure of selling it abroad and national pride in the country’s scientific prowess that has earned comparisons to the cold war space race, when the Soviet Unions’s Sputnik 1 was the world’s first satellite to be launched into orbit around the Earth.

Dmitriev, who has been tasked with selling the vaccine abroad, said that a dose of the vaccine would cost no more than $10 (£7.50) on international markets – about half the cost of the Pfizer vaccine.

He predicted that more than 1bn doses would be produced in the next year in countries including India, Korea, Brazil, China, and Hungary, the first, and so far the only, EU country to express a serious interest in the Russian vaccine.

Ten sample batches arrived in Budapest on a temperature-controlled flight last week.

Hungary’s prime minister, Viktor Orbán, who is currently in dispute with other European leaders over plans to link EU budget funds to rule of law criteria, has been criticised in the past for his friendly relations with the Kremlin.

The Hungarian government said it has made preliminary orders for a number of different vaccines, including those manufactured in Russia and China, and Orbán has promised that individual citizens would be able to choose which vaccine to take.

“As vaccination will not be compulsory, if there are several vaccines, everyone will be able to decide for themselves which one they trust most: whether they prefer the business-centred approach of a US corporation, the state-developed Russian vaccine, or the Chinese one,” he said.

Hungary’s foreign minister Péter Szijjártó said Hungarian scientists were now trialling the Russian vaccine in laboratories, “so that they’ll be able to make a well-based decision on its possible usability and licensing”.

However, under EU rules, the vaccine must be authorised by the European Medicines Agency before any member states can approve it for general use.

“The question arises whether a member state would want to administer to its citizens a vaccine that has not been reviewed by the EMA,” a European commission spokesperson told Reuters last week, adding that using an untested vaccine could have the result of lowering confidence in vaccines in general among the population.

The Hungarian-American financier and philanthropist George Soros, who has been the target of a long-running smear campaign by the Orbán government, last week wrote in an article that Hungary’s interest in the Russian vaccine “deserves to be investigated” given previous allegations of corruption against the Hungarian prime minister’s inner circle. Soros pointed out that Hungary appears to have paid up to 50 times more for ventilators than Germany, leading some to question the motives behind the deals.

In response, Orbán called Soros “the most corrupt man in the world” and said his advice on which vaccines to buy was not welcome. “It isn’t Soros’s job to decide which vaccines are good and which aren’t. That is for laboratories to decide and the Hungarian people, who will be free to choose from among several vaccines.”
