Coronavirus: More than 200 foreigners denied entry to Israel

The Population and Immigration Authority said more than 200 foreign nationals had been denied entry to Israel since the new restrictions over the spread of the coronavirus, which took effect last Friday.

The Ministry of Transport has issued guidelines for travel on public transport, which prohibits sitting in the front row of the bus.

The ministry also instructed not to authorize travel while standing on inter-city travel, in order to reduce the density of these extended trips.

The number of those infected with coronavirus worldwide has exceeded 110,000.

3,825 people have died from the virus and 61,979 have recovered.
