El Al CEO Dina Ben Tal Ganancia commented on the controversy caused by reports about pilots in the company who refused to fly Prime Minister Netanyahu to Italy.
“El Al is a company that proudly carries the Israeli flag on the wing of its planes. We will not lend a hand to boycotts of any kind, certainly not against the Prime Minister of Israel.”
- “The flight is manned in accordance with the company’s procedures and we do not anticipate a problem with the manning. The flight will depart as scheduled on the scheduled date. It is a great honor for us to fly the Prime Minister on a political mission. This is what we have always done and we will continue to do so in the future,” said the CEO.
