El Al denies difficulty manning PM’s flight to Rome

El Al CEO Dina Ben Tal Ganancia commented on the controversy caused by reports about pilots in the company who refused to fly Prime Minister Netanyahu to Italy.

“El Al is a company that proudly carries the Israeli flag on the wing of its planes. We will not lend a hand to boycotts of any kind, certainly not against the Prime Minister of Israel.”

  • “The flight is manned in accordance with the company’s procedures and we do not anticipate a problem with the manning. The flight will depart as scheduled on the scheduled date. It is a great honor for us to fly the Prime Minister on a political mission. This is what we have always done and we will continue to do so in the future,” said the CEO.
