Entry refused to 48 foreign passengers on flights from Italy

The Population and Immigration Authority reports that a flight from the northern-Italian city of Bergamo plane landed at 12:55 pm, and that Israeli passengers got off the plane and received instructions from the Health Ministry while 19 Italians and six citizens of other countries remained on the plane and were refused entry to Israel under the decision of Interior Minister Aryeh Deri.

The aircraft will take off back to Bergamo soon, carrying those 25 passengers, in addition to 119 other passengers departing from Israel, most of them Italian. In addition, the entry of 23 passengers who landed on easyJet flights from Venice and Milan were refused entry and will be flown back soon.
