South Carolina Republican Jeff Duncan has been spotted wearing a red ‘Let’s go Brandon’ face mask on the House floor on Monday, local time.
Politico reporter Olivia Beaver shared the picture to her Twitter account of the congressman donning the popular phrase on his mask.
‘Let’s go Brandon’ has become a popular phrase among anti-Joe Biden Americans.
It’s in reference to race car driver Brandon Brown who was partaking in his post win interview at Talladega last month.
The reporter thought the crowd was chanting “Let’s go Brandon” in the background, but they were really chanting anti-Biden slurs.
Republicans have taken to sporting games, bars and concerts to chant the anti-Biden rhetoric and are sharing the videos online.
