Manipulation by Hamas:
Al Jazeera on Wednesday evening aired footage that shows the release of hostages by Hamas terrorists during the mass attack this past Saturday.
In the video, a woman and two children who were abducted to the Gaza Strip are seen as they are set free and making their way back to Israel.
- The woman is Avital Aladjem, a resident of Kibbutz Holit which the terrorists infiltrated on Saturday. She was released by the terrorists at the last minute on the Gaza border, as she was carrying the children of her murdered neighbor, four-month-old Eshel and four-year-old Negev.
The reason behind the airing of the footage is likely an attempt to reduce the harsh international criticism of Hamas after its atrocities were compared to those committed by the Islamic State (ISIS).

Lt. Col. Avichay Adraee, the head of the Arab media division of the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit, commented on the Hamas manipulation which aired on Al Jazeera.
- “After the entire world saw the ugly face of the barbaric organization that executed hundreds of innocent children and women in a terrible massacre, Hamas publishes a propaganda video on its mouthpieces. It is worse than ISIS and we will continue to hit it hard, without stopping,” said Adraee.
