Head of Kfar Chabad slams media ‘misrepresentation’

The chairman of Kfar Chabad, Rabbi Shimon Rabinowitz, claims that the manner in which the coronavirus’s morbidity data has been presented by the Ministry of Health produces a harmful false image.

In a letter sent to the Director General of the Ministry of Health, Rabinowitz writes that

“Kfar Chabad, known in Israel as a community that distributes light, joy and Judaism to all over the country appears in media headlines that portray it as a community at the top of the morbidity rate in Israel, while it [happens to be] at the top of the recovery and residents in the village are strictly abiding by Ministry of Health instructions and rabbinic guidelines.”
