Hungary has begun construction of a plant for the production of the Russian vaccine against coronavirus Sputnik V and plans to put it into operation by the end of next year, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó told RIA Novosti.
“These are not even plans – we have already started the construction. The construction has begun. The factory will be completed in terms of construction by the spring or fall … and put into operation by the end of next year,” he said.
Siyjarto called the project “a colossal contribution to the global goal of ensuring the sustainability of supply” of coronavirus vaccines.
