Jonathan Pollard: The Day After

With Israel’s warning to the Palestinian population of northern Gaza to leave before we start a bombardment designed to eradicate Hamas and their terrorist allies, the question arises as to what our intentions towards Gaza will be once the dust settles.

Ideally, all the Gazans will be temporarily forced to relocate to Egypt, after which the UN and Arab League will have to find them permanent homes in the other countries that comprise the Arabic speaking world.

  • This population transfer will be a day of reckoning for these hypocritical countries that, for decades, have cynically exploited the plight of the Palestinian “refugees” as a weapon to be used against Israel, all the while refusing to integrate them into their own societies.

It didn’t have to come to this, but senseless hatred sometimes has a habit of forcing the perpetrator to pay a price for their evil.

So, going forward, not one Palestinian should be allowed to reside in Gaza. It’s just too dangerous given the degree of anti Semitic indoctrination these people have been subjected to over the years. And, as we’ve seen, turning the Strip over to the PA will not change this dangerous situation one iota.

The same hate filled indoctrination of the Palestinian population in Gaza will continue, accompanied, as it must, by the eventual creation of Hamas like terrorist organizations, just like what’s occurred in Jenin.

From my perspective, then, the only solution to this problem is for Israel to simply annex Gaza and repopulate it with our own citizens.

  • The old notion of turning Gaza into a Singapore on the Mediterranean may not be so crazy, then, as long as it’s an Israeli Singapore and not some poisonous cesspool inhabited by brainwashed Jihadis.

My hope is that the majority of the Gaza Strip could be turned into a solar park that could provide us with over a gigawatt of clean renewable energy.

  • However, for the sake of justice, I would also ensure that the Jewish settlers of Gush Katif, who were brutally expelled from their homes during the so-called “disengagement”, will be compensated by having their communities completely rebuilt.

By adopting this annexation policy, I hope we’ll be able to show not only the world, but also our regional enemies, that if you come to murder us like blood crazed zombies, not only will you be totally defeated, but your land will be forfeited, as well.

This may be an “old school” approach to punishing an aggressor, but as history teaches, it works.

Therefore, if we are going to ensure that our people never again suffer another massacre of the innocents that we just witnessed on Simchat Torah, we must eliminate the Gazan cancer once and for all. Such a plan will not only secure our southern border, but it just might have a deterrent effect on future adversaries.
