Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Tuesday that his daughter Noa had given birth to a baby boy. The child is the fifth grandchild of Netanyahu. Netanyahu received the news while visiting London.
Netanyahu’s daughter Noa, 42, is a ‘ba’alat teshuva’ (returnee to Orthodox Judaism). She is married to Danny (Daniel) Roth, and the two are members of the Breslov hasidic sect and live in the Mea Shearim neighborhood of Jerusalem.
- Noa and Daniel, are called Rachel, David and Shmuel. Noa is the daughter of Miki Haran – Netanyahu’s first wife.
Meanwhile, the Likud’s election committee, headed by retired judge Menachem Ne’eman, ruled today that since only former prime minister Netanyahu has submitted his candidacy for the party leadership, there will be no primaries for the party leadership.
Until July 18, 2022, it was possible to apply for the position of Likud chairman, but apart from Netanyahu, no one applied to run.
- Accordingly, “The Central Election Commission and the Supervisory Committee hereby declare that Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu has been elected to the position of Chairman of the Likud and the Likud candidate for the position of Prime Minister of Israel in the elections to the 25th Knesset.”
