Putin will shorten Israel visit due to political situation in Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin will shorten his visit to Israel next week to just one day due to the political situation in Russia.

On Wednesday, Putin offered the post of prime minister to Russia’s Federal Tax Service Commissioner Mikhail Mishustin, who responded positively, after former Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev resigned.

Putin will land in Israel on Thursday morning and attend the inauguration ceremony of the Leningrad monument in Jerusalem’s Sachar Park and the International Holocaust Conference at Yad Vashem, and will take off again in the evening.
