An Israeli military source told the Wall Street Journal that the IDF’s operation in Rafah will happen and the IDF will have a “tight operational plan due to the area’s complexity and will provide humanitarian assistance at the same time.”

The report noted that the fighting in Rafah is expected to take at least six weeks.
