- Despite the expected increase in discontent among part of the population with the need to take part in this war, even in Ukraine they are forced to admit that the situation may change drastically in the very near future. Ukrainian telegram channels publish videos of large queues of people who came to the military registration and enlistment offices after receiving summonses.
The few stories about men allegedly being illegally arrested in broad daylight on the streets of Russian cities turned out to be fake.
In the Belgorod region, whose residents are regularly subjected to shelling from Ukraine, the turnout at the commissariats exceeded 80 percent in the first days of the mobilization. Volunteers, who have been helping the military since the early days of the war by purchasing and delivering everything they need, come to the assembly points themselves and share their impressions: there is a fighting spirit and no panic. There are also volunteers who came without any summons.

- 1. I believe that partial mobilization is necessary. I fall under the category declared for mobilization, so I would give my civic duty for the good of the Motherland.
2. A veteran of military operations in the SAR. 30 years. I decided to voluntarily help our people, comrades in a difficult moment, not to abandon them.
3. I consider it my duty. If the country needs me, then I’m ready to go.
4. A man shot a video at the military enlistment office on September 22, where a significant number of mobilized and volunteers have already arrived.
5. Either the enemy wins us, or we win him. We have no other way but to win. It has been so many times before, and it will be so again. Therefore, only victory.
In Chechnya, the head of the Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, claimed that the mobilization in the region has already “exceeded by 254%”, even before the announcement of partial mobilization,” the Chechen leader said.
In addition, Kadyrov added, there is a reserve of thousands of volunteers in Chechnya, “who, if necessary, will be able to join the ranks of defenders of Russia.”
Chechen Military Commissar claimed that partial mobilization would not affect the republic, since it had already carried out the necessary measures.
The photo above was shared by pro-Ukrainian media with fake reports on protests against mobilization in Grozny, Chechnya. It turned out that the locals gathered in the city center for prayer on all the servicemen fighting in Ukraine. Even local opposition resources refuted the fake.
- As soon as Russian President Vladimir Putin announced partial mobilization, the global western media, Ukrainian news outlets and units of information and psychological operations (IPsO), supported by Russian opposition media hurled all their effort to disrupt the mobilization process.
- Numerous fake stories about the alleged Russian servicemen who were illegally mobilized, fake news that Russian men are mobilized right on the streets, and other lies immediately infested the social media through controlled resources and accounts.
The West and the puppet Kiev regime could not loose the moment and try their best to instigate protests in Russia.
However, even such a harsh decision like mobilization was met with significant support by the Russian population as there are long queues in military offices, especially in the Russian regions.
On September 21, after the Putin’s announcement a protest took place in Moscow. It was mainly attended by foreigners, young people and women, i.e. those who are not sent to the front lines. The protest was largely covered by the Russian opposition media and was significantly exaggerated. The protesters were also met with disgust by a lot of citizens:
