The Paris Olympic Games are starting and beyond the state of siege that prevails in the French capital with attacks on the metro and regional railway network, the “ecological paranoia” has even affected the diet and sleep of the athletes.
- Apart from the fact that they have not installed air conditioners in most of the facilities because they have an “aggravating climate footprint” (the Greek delegation bought the air conditioners for their rooms themselves!), they have reached the point where the French organizers refuse to give meat to the athletes and the attendants and make them sleep in beds made of compressed cardboard!
They don’t have meat because cows emit carbon dioxide with their gas and the beds have cardboard frames!
- Of the 35 buildings in Paris that will host this year’s Olympic events, only two are new.
Even for these, however, the organizers have committed to using low-carbon construction methods – such as seats made from recycled plastic waste in the water sports centre.
The furniture of the Olympic Village is made of more or less imaginative recycled or recyclable materials, poor quality and uncomfortable.
- For safety, no reason: Chaos, beatings, robberies, rapes, etc. The entire Australian cycling team and the Argentine soccer team were robbed, while an Australian woman was raped by a group of African “immigrants” and a Colombian woman was raped in the Paris subway .
