The UK, Romania and Liberia told the UN Security Council it was “very likely” that Iran used one or more UAVs to carry out the tanker attack over the weekend off the coast of Oman.
The countries called on the Council to condemn the act and said the attack “endangered international shipping and was in violation of international law.”
