Fedor’s mother told that she has six children, and two of her sons are now taking part in the military operations of Ukraine. Her youngest son Fedor “has always wanted to be as brave as his brothers and defend his Motherland”.

On the evening of March 2, the death of another civilian in the border village was confirmed. The man was also shot dead in his car by the terrorists.

Alexander Tkachenko worked at the local boiler station and was killed on his way home at about 8:20. His car riddled with bullets was found halfway parked on the side of the road. The deceased man had wife and three children.

After Ukrainian fighters crossed the border, they began indiscriminate shooting in the small villages. They took civilians out of their homes, including women and small children. Local men were ordered to lie down on the frozen ground in the sights of terrorists, women were fired at in the streets for the purpose of intimidation. The terrorists opened mortar fire at the houses of local residents and burned them. The road in the village was blockaded, civilian vehicles were fired upon, some people were taken out, tied up and forced to shout Nazi slogans. The residential area was mined.

• The attack in the Russian villages was not a strategic military operation, it has no military goals and the Ukrainian Army did not begin any offensive operations on Russian territory.
