Watch: IDF treating Syrians injured in Turkey earthquake

Yesterday (Friday), the IDF “Olive Branches” medical aid delegation began treating civilians at a local hospital in the city of Kahramanmaraş.

Among the patients were over 10 Syrian victims who were injured in Türkiye as a result of the earthquakes.

Yesterday (Friday), LTC Aziz Abrahim, an intensive care nurse and paramedic in the medical aid delegation, treated a 4-year-old Syrian boy from the city of Homs who had been in Türkiye with his family during the earthquakes.

The boy arrived at the hospital with moderate pelvic injuries after being rescued from the rubble approximately four days after the earthquakes. The boy lost both of his parents and is the only survivor of his family.

Over the weekend, the search and rescue teams rescued two people, and the medical delegation treated approximately 180 people.
